Those Who Remain Trailer Drops

Those Who Remain is an obscure psychological horror game that recently got a reveal trailer. In true psychological horror fashion, the trailer is very vague and, at first glance, doesn’t make much sense. The only context we have so far is from the steam page:

The horrors and darkness that thrive in the corner of every eye are torn loose. Those Who Remain places you in an up-close, psychological horror story set in the sleepy town of Dormont – a town in a spiraling split from the fabric of reality, warped by darkness and the deeds of the Citizens who reside. Confront the uncomfortable horrors reflected by the darkness and survive the night of Dormont as Edward is confronted with a test of his sanity, morality and the shadows of evil that lurks below.

Camel 101 will develop the game, with Wired Productions as the publisher. Leo Zullo, managing director of Wired Productions, said this during a press release:

The game is packed full of atmosphere and is sure to take your imagination to another dimension. We are delighted to be welcoming the title and the team to the Wired family – and to Gamescom.

Co-founder of Camel 101, Ricardo Cesteiro, chimed in:

We could not be more excited about partnering up with Wired Productions as they are partners who are as truly passionate about games as we are. They are experienced with this genre and will help share our vision for the game with a global audience, which we’re beyond thrilled about.

Players will be able to hop between the dark and the ordinary worlds of Dormont. However, players must stay vigilant because all their actions will be documented; therefore, changing the events and the story’s outcome.

Those Who Remain will be released on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and Steam. A release date still hasn’t been confirmed.
