Suicide Squad

Batman and his super friends had plenty of time in the spotlight in the video game department. Now it’s time for their villains to suit up and take that spotlight. A Suicide Squad game based on DC’s iconic supervillain squad has been announced by Rocksteady. The proud developers of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham franchise has not released any details about the game.

Except for a single image of a target on Superman’s head with more information planned for release on August 22. The same date as the DC fandom, DC comics’ digital fan event, so fans might have something to look forward to.

Speculation about the upcoming title has already surfaced. Many believe the Suicide Squad has it out for the Justice League, due to the crosshair being placed over Superman’s head. Another speculation is that Deathstroke will be a team player in the game because the post-credit scene in Batman: Arkham OriginsĀ shows Amanda Waller requesting that he join the Suicide Squad.

Everyone should receive concrete answers on August 22 – during the DC FanDome event.
