Spider-Man Swings Over To Marvel’s Avengers, But Only As Exclusive PlayStation DLC

Fans have theorized for a while that Spider-Man (PS4) would eventually cross over with the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers game. What led to this speculation is that Spider-Man on the PS4 did drop a couple of Easter eggs to the Avengers and Task Master did mention he fought the Avengers in the past. Which he does that exact thing in the Avengers game.

Well, that theory is half true; Spider-Man will be joining the Avengers, but as exclusive DLC for the PlayStation. This has been confirmed on Playstation Blog that Spider-Man will be joining the team early 2021 with “no additional charges.” Also, this will not be Insomniac’s Spider-Man, but rather Crystal Dynamics’ take on the web-slinger.

Some fans have rejoiced that they don’t have to wait years again for the webhead to work along with his amazing friends. However, some fans aren’t very pleased that Spider-Man is an exclusive DLC for PlayStation users. While other platforms will not have him join the roster.

What do you guys think? Does this ruffle you up or are you perfectly fine with this? Let us know in the comment section below!
